This year , i ended up spending my summer vacation in Croatia , more specifically Dalmatia  ( Yes , this is where the dogs we all know by dalmatians are coming from 🙂 )

i was really impressed by this small country and all the fun it has to offer .

Below are my recommendations if you’re thinking to go :

• if you’re a fan of GAME of THRONES , book your flight to DUBROVNIK , this where KINGSLANDING is. other than that, the city is small, one day is enough . it is well known by its stunning tile-red roofs and medieval stone walls jutting into the sparkling, azure blue Adriatic Sea.

  

• Then you can take a bus or a boat to Split , it s a cute little city on water too , you want to book your hotel in the old town , not far from the DIOCLETIAN’s palace , i personally stayed in a room inside an old palace called PALACE AUGUBIO , and i can say that is a fun experience to wake up in a palace 🙂

  SPLIT OLD TOWN
• After you finish your tour inside the palace you can either take a a nice long walk to the beach , or UBER https://www.facebook.com/ZenBeachSplit/ a very nice beach bar with good food and a beautiful sunset .

  

• you can also do tours to the natural parks around : KRKA Waterfalls is the best , you can go , swim and take pictures .
• After a couple days in SPLIT, get your Ferry to HVAR , where life is happening : it’s a small island, with no sand though, so if you don’t like rocky beaches, rent a BOAT and go sailing , ISLAND HOPPING is the best thing to do . and the water is amazing , transparent and not too cold .

• 

  

• You can also do scubdaving or snorkeling .
• you can spend a day in Palmizana island, like 30 mins by boat from HVAR , and you can find some sand there .

  

• Don’t Miss Sunset in HULA HULA , the vibe is amazing , the music and the view are fabulous , from there you can just hang with the follow and enjoy what you get, but make sure to end up in CARPE DIEM island ( a whole different level of beach party) https://www.facebook.com/CarpeDiemBeachHvar/

• Dont miss the pizza part in MLINAR bakery , i can live with that !!
• if you want fine dining, try the BLACK PEPPER, the food is amazing .

Cette année, j’ai fini par passer mes vacances d’été en Croatie, et plus spécifiquement Dalmatia (si, si, c’est delà que la race des 101 dalmatiens est originaire).

J’étais vraiment impressionnée par ce petit pays et tout le fun qu’il a à proposer.

Vous trouverez ci-dessous mes recommandations si vous pensez vous y rendre :

+ Si vous êtes un inconditionnel de GOT, réserver un vol pour DUBROVNIK, une petite ville que vous pouvez découvrir en une journée seulement, et où se trouve KINGSLANDING. Elle est bien connue pour ses toits en tuile rouge, et ses murs médiévaux taillés dans la pierre jutant le bleu azure de la mer Adriatique.

+ Ensuite, vous pouvez prendre le bus ou un bateau pour Split, c’est un très joli village sur la côte aussi. Pensez à réserver votre hôtel ans la vieille ville, pas loin du DIOCLETIAN’s PALACE. Pour ma part, j’ai pris une chambre dans un vieux palace AUGUBIO, et j’avoue que c’était une expérience plutôt fun que de se réveiller dans un palace. J

+ Lorsque vous finissez de faire le tour du Palace, vous pouvez soit aller vous promener au bord de la mer, soit prendre un UBER pour le Zen Beach Split une plage privée très sympa avec un bar, de la bonne bouffe, et surtout un très beau couché du soleil.

+ Vous pouvez faire des circuits touristiques autour de parcs naturels : KRKA Waterfalls est à ne pas rater, que cela soit pour des photos ou pour une bonne baignade.

+ Après deux jours à Split, prenez le ferry pour HVAR, où la belle vie peut commencer : une île magnifique, une eau cristalline et pas très froide en plus, et un archipel paradisiaque à découvrir en faisant la tournée en bateau. Un seul hic à mon goût : l’absence de sable dans ces plages rocheuses.

+ Vous pouvez aussi faire de la plongée sous-marine et du snorkeling.

+ Et pour les amoureux des plages de sable : vous pouvez toujours passer la journée sur l’île Palmizana, à 30 minutes de HVAR en bateau.

ILE PALMIZANA, DEPUIS LA PLAGE LONGANINI

+ Ne ratez surtout pas le coucher du soleil au HULA HULA, très bonne vibe, excellente musique et une vue à vous couper le souffle. Et à partir de la bas, si vous avez de l’endurance, rendez-vous à l’île CARPE DIEM (le summum dans ce qui se fait de Beach Party).

+ Le plus important : une part de pizza chez MLINAR Bakery. Je peux vivre de ça !!

+ Si vous voulez un bon dîner, optez pour BLACK PEPPER. Mmm … un délice.
